Research Interest

I am a physician-scientist devoted to the advancement of basic science for the betterment of human health. My current research in the laboratory of Dr. John DiPersio involves studying antibody-based immunotherapies for allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) conditioning, for use in the treatment of malignant and non-malignant hematologic diseases. My long-term aim is to establish an independent basic science/translational research laboratory focused on developing novel allo-HSCT conditioning strategies that avoid the severe toxicities of conventional chemotherapy- and irradiation-based conditioning regimens.
