To schedule an appointment on the van, call 800-600-3606, option 2.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, PECaD began working with the Siteman Mammography Van at screening sites to provide breast cancer education to women. While high PSA levels can be caused by prostate cancer, these levels can also be high in men who have an infection or inflammation of the prostate.<\/p>\n<p>The PSA test is the primary screening technique for prostate cancer. Washington University Physicians at Siteman pioneered this test and have successfully developed the free PSA test as a way of more accurately detecting cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Preventive screenings are available for you and your family members. At Siteman, we strive to give all men access to the cancer care they need. We offer free PSA screening vouchers for men 40 and over. These vouchers can be used for free PSA screenings at the lab in the Center for Advanced Medicine (CAM) or at Christian Hospital. Colon cancer is one of the few cancers that can be found through these tests. A colon cancer screening may find polyps, which are growths on the lining of the colon or rectum. Because polyps can turn into cancer over time, doctors remove them to reduce that risk. Screening can also find colon cancer in its early stages, when it&#8217;s easier to treat. Most people should start getting screened for colon cancer at age 45. People with a family history of polyps or colon cancer may need to get screened before they turn 45.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">Screening options<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">You have several choices for getting screened. The first place to start is to talk to a doctor or health care provider.
