Your Disease Risk is an educational website of the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine and is intended for informational purposes only.

This interactive tool estimates your risk of cancer and provides personalized tips for prevention. Anyone can use it, but it’s most accurate for people age 40 and over who have never had any type of cancer.

Do not use the content to make a diagnosis, treat a health problem or replace a doctor’s judgment.

Your Disease Risk does not take the place of regular medical check-ups. If you have any concerns about your health, talk to a doctor. Do not disregard or delay seeking medical advice because of something you read on this web site.

Take a few minutes to answer some questions and find out your risk. It doesn’t tell you if you’ll get cancer or not, but it does tell you where to focus your prevention efforts. Because the best way to fight cancer is to stop it before it starts!
