Ryan Fields, MD, discusses the progress he believes Siteman will make in the next 20 years

Washington University surgeon Ryan Fields, MD, says that often times Siteman patients are candidates for minimally invasive surgery techniques that offer the same results of more intrusive treatments. This allows patients to get back to their normal way of life sooner. He also says the advances in prevention and screening are allowing cancers to be found earlier and he expects that take off even more over the next 20 years. Dr. Fields says he belives in the next 20 years Siteman will solidify itself as one of the top cancer centers in the world.
