Welcoming Survivors

Erica credits Siteman Cancer Center with saving her life after being diagnosed with breast cancer 16 years ago. Like many across the region, she continues to travel to St. Louis for close monitoring and routine follow-ups. To her, Siteman is already a place for surviving. Washington University Physicians offer access to more than 700 clinical trials designed to assess the effectiveness of innovative treatments and applications for every cancer type. Siteman Cancer Center is honored to be one of only seven cancer centers in the nation that holds three or more Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) grants. The National Cancer Institute bestows these prestigious awards on centers able to create new pathways for cancer treatment.
