Siteman Cancer Center’s main campus is located directly across from Forest Park, nestled in the Central West End area of St. Louis.

The Washington University Medical Campus offers patients access to a wide array of care services unlike any other in the region. Patients have access to world-class Washington University Physicians who specialize in medical therapy, surgery and radiation therapy. These physicians are equipped with an unparalleled selection of technologies to deliver the best care available. Patients at the Siteman Cancer Center also have access to more than 500 clinical trials. Clinical trials are important to patients because they offer the opportunity to take advantage of all kinds of new therapies.

Most patients of the Siteman Cancer Center will visit the Washington University Medical Campus at some point during their treatment.

Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital

Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital is one of five cancer center satellites that offer patients excellent care closer to their homes. We understand that for many patients convenient care close to their homes makes the treatment process less stressful, which is why we offer satellite locations across the St. Louis region.

Patients at our West County location are seen by Washington University Physicians who are board-certified cancer specialists. Additionally, the center is staffed by registered nurses with specialized training in caring for cancer patients. Patients at the Siteman Cancer Center also have access to clinical trials. Clinical trials are important to patients because they offer the opportunity to take advantage of all kinds of new therapies.

The site also offers a Washington University pharmacy for convenience in filling prescriptions needed during treatment.

Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital

Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is one of five satellites that offer patients excellent care closer to their homes. Siteman has operated a satellite at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital since 2005, and expanded the facility significantly in 2017. The 37,000 square-foot center is staffed by Washington University medical and radiation oncologists and surgeons. Additional staff includes nurse practitioners, oncology-certified nurses, a dietitian, a social worker, a massage therapist and additional support personnel to assist patients and family members.

Patients at the Siteman Cancer Center also have access to clinical trials. Clinical trials are important to patients because they offer the opportunity to take advantage of all kinds of new therapies.

Siteman Cancer Center at Northwest HealthCare

We have now opened a new, free-standing building at Northwest HealthCare in Florissant.  At this nearly 37,000-square-foot center, patients will be able to receive high-tech treatments in a warm, soothing environment decorated with paintings by noted local artists and enhanced by a healing garden.

This facility is staffed by Washington University medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and surgeons who also practice at Siteman’s main campus in St. Louis and collaborate regularly with other Siteman and Washington University Physicians.  These doctors provide multidisciplinary care, coordinating their schedules so patients can see as many as three physicians in one trip and have their entire treatment plan determined in a single visit.

In addition to Washington University Physicians, our staff includes registered nurses with specialized training in caring for cancer patients.  A research coordinator is also available to talk with patients about possible participation in clinical trials, which provide access to new medications and treatments not available at most cancer centers.

Siteman Cancer Center - Illinois

Siteman Cancer Center facility at the Memorial Hospital East campus in Shiloh, Ill., opened Jan. 13, 2020. The facility marks Siteman’s sixth location overall.
