Pharmacies

Patients have two options at the Center for Advanced Medicine to have their prescriptions filled: Barnes-Jewish Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy and Washington University Cancer Center Pharmacy.

Additionally, Washington University operates retail pharmacies at our campuses in west St. Louis County, south St. Louis County and St. Peters. Information for those pharmacies can be found below and on the location pages linked.

Barnes-Jewish Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy

Normal business hours:

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Closed weekends and most major holidays.

Online Refill Options:
The outpatient pharmacy located at the Center for Advanced Medicine offers an online service. The upgraded online access allows customers to order refills and check the status of your prescription.

All you need is your prescription number (located on your prescription label) and the last 4 digits of your phone number to begin.

We honor many prescription drug programs. New prescriptions may be called or faxed to us by your physician or you may bring them directly to the pharmacy. Refills may be phoned in using our automatic system. Please allow 24 hours for refill processing. In addition to processing and filling prescriptions the Barnes-Jewish Hospital pharmacy also offers patient counseling and year end tax reports.

Copies of our privacy policy may be picked up at the pharmacy.
