Wellness and Resiliency Group for LGBTQ+ Cancer Patients 

This 8-week group is open to Siteman Cancer Center patients who identify as LGBTQ+. This group serves as a space dedicated to reducing disparities by empowering LGBTQ+ cancer patients and providing a safe space for LGBTQ+ patients to share and reflect on the ways in which they may promote health and resilience within their own lives as well as community. This group is not a mental health group but rather is educational and supportive in nature; weekly topics include:

  • discussion of identity, 
  • body image, 
  • affirmative care, 
  • sexual health, 
  • relationships and intimacy, 
  • self-care, and 
  • community-based resources.
