Research Interest

My research focuses on developing small-molecule therapeutics that target metabolic and transcriptional vulnerabilities in cancer. This includes modulators of nuclear receptors (LXR, ERR, Rev-Erb, TLX), mitochondrial pyruvate carrier (MPC) inhibitors, and novel tumor-targeted carbonic anhydrase IX/XII inhibitors. These compounds aim to disrupt cancer-driving pathways such as lipid metabolism, mitochondrial function, circadian signaling, and hypoxia adaptation. My work has relevance to multiple cancer types, including breast, prostate, live, leukemia, and glioblastoma, and has yielded several promising antitumor agents currently under further development.
