Daniel Thorek, PhD

Primary Academic Title

Associate Professor of Radiology, Division of Radiological Chemistry and Imaging Laboratory, Washington University School of Medicine

Research Interest

Our laboratory focuses on characterizing disease on a molecular and functional level for the precise application of targeted therapies. Noninvasive imaging and ex vivo profiling provide a basis for the development and monitoring of novel mono- and combination therapy approaches in model systems that recapitulate features of advanced disease.

Education

  • 2009: PhD, bioengineering, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia
