Pediatric Leukemia and Lymphoma Program

The Pediatric Leukemia and Lymphoma Program at Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital specializes in treating children who have been diagnosed with a type of blood cancer. Blood cancers include kinds of pediatric leukemia and pediatric lymphoma and make up the largest number of children diagnosed with cancer each year. Siteman Kids’ teams of specialists are experienced in treating and curing young children diagnosed with leukemia or lymphoma, and they are also researching why these diseases begin, how to prevent them and innovating new treatments.  

Ongoing research is a top priority of Siteman Kids’ Pediatric Leukemia and Lymphoma Program.  To unlock new treatment tools, physician-researchers have established strong, collaborative relationships. The group leads research within WashU Medicine’s McDonnell Pediatric Cancer Center.
