Bradley recognized by American Society for Radiation Oncology

Jeffrey Bradley, MD, the S. Lee Kling Professor of Radiation Oncology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, has been named one of 23 fellows this year by the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO). He will be recognized at the society’s 59th annual meeting Sept. 24-27 in San Diego.

ASTRO is an international society of physicians, nurses, biologists, physicists, radiation therapists and others who specialize in treating patients with radiation therapies. Only 292 of the society’s more than 10,000 members have been named fellows. Among other requirements for consideration, candidates must have made a significant contribution to the field of radiation oncology.

“The impact that this group of dedicated individuals has had on the field of radiation oncology is immense,” said ASTRO Chair David C. Beyer, MD.

Bradley is the inaugural director of the S. Lee Kling Proton Therapy Center at Siteman Cancer Center, the only proton therapy center in Missouri and the surrounding region.
