Primary Academic Title

Assistant Professor, Department of Cell Biology and Physiology, Department of Innternal medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Lipid Research, WashU Medicine

Research Interest

The Crewe lab is interested in how extracellular vesicles (EVs) mediate signaling between cells in the tumor microenvironment. EVs are nano-sized vesicles that carry biomolecules like RNAs, metabolites, and signaling proteins that have been shown to regulate cancer progression and immune evasion. Our focus is on how EV signaling may affect tumor suppressor function in breast cancer.
