Research Interest

My research focuses on policy and program interventions designed to improve food security and health outcomes, particularly through Food is Medicine approaches. These include Medically Tailored Meals and Produce Prescriptions for individuals with Type 2 Diabetes, cancer, or during pregnancy. I also examine the role of nutrition assistance policies and programs such as school meals and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). I am dedicated to understanding barriers to nutritious food access to inform equitable, community-based solutions.
