Primary Academic Title

Instructor of Medicine, Division of Oncology, Washington University School of Medicine

Research Interest

Understanding and elimination of cancer disparities. I am interested in how social determinants of health, such as race, socioeconomic status, and insurance coverage, impact what treatment patients with cancer receive and their health outcomes. My goal is to improve the care of underserved communities by recognizing the factors that are associated with inferior treatments and outcomes and developing interventions to eliminate the disparities. In addition, I collaborate on numerous studies involving cancer epidemiology, biomarkers, and treatments.
