Radiation Oncologist

Primary Academic Title

Assistant Professor, Radiation Oncology, Washington University School of Medicine

Clinical Expertise

Radiation Oncology

Research Interest

My primary research interest is in imaging for radiotherapy applications. In the past, I have worked on using dual-energy CT (DECT) for accurately estimating the proton beam range to enhance proton therapy precision. My current goal is to use artificial intelligence (AI) as a tool for enhancing the accuracy and enhancing the efficiency of radiotherapy. Real-time imaging and dose tracking for online/real-time adaptive radiotherapy will be a key area of my research in the future. I believe AI or deep learning will be an important software tool along with hardware innovations.
