Kiran Mahajan, PhD

Primary Academic Title

Assistant Professor of Surgery, Division of Urologic Surgery, Washington University School of Medicine

Research Interest

Employing human prostate organoid model systems and immunocompetent Genetically Engineered Mouse models (GEM) models of prostate cancer to develop and characterize novel small molecule inhibitors to uncover their therapeutic potential and mechanism of action for targeting clinically significant prostate cancers. A second major interest of the lab, is the epigenetic regulation of DNA damage signaling pathways in prostate and breast cancers.
