Primary Academic Title

Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of Dermatology, Washington University School of Medicine

Clinical Expertise

Skin cancer, melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma

Research Interest

I use multi-omics techniques (genomics, metabolomics) to capture snapshots of the microbial communities (bacteria, fungi, viruses) inhabiting human beings. These microbes can directly affect both the development and treatment of human disease. As a dermatologist, my research focuses on how these microbes affect diseases of the skin, like acne and melanoma.
