Clinical Expertise

As a member of our liver cancer specialist team, Dr. Ortiz cares for patients diagnosed with Transplant Hepatology and liver tumors through treatment and recovery.

Research Interest

My research focuses on post-transplant recurrence in cholangiocarcinoma, especially in those who undergo the pre-liver transplant therapy protocol. I am also interested in outcomes and mechanisms of resistance after immunotherapy in liver tumors.
