Research Interest

My laboratory focuses on complex skull base tumors, including pituitary adenomas, meningiomas, and vestibular schwannomas—tumors I frequently encounter in the operating room. We employ advanced molecular techniques like single-cell RNA sequencing, high-resolution spatial transcriptomics, and epigenetic profiling to dissect these tumors at a cellular level. By integrating these data, we aim to unravel the mechanisms driving aggressive tumor behavior and develop novel therapies for tumors resistant to conventional treatments. Our goal is to personalize treatment strategies, improving outcomes for patients with these challenging and often refractory tumors
