Research Interest

My area of research primarily revolves around disparities in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Specifically, I examine intersections of individual, family, community, and healthcare setting characteristics and their impact on diagnosis and treatment, as well as the use of digital healthcare interventions for patients with cancer and their caregivers. Additionally, I work on and am interested in further developing design and analytic methodologies for clinical trials of interventions for cancer patients and their caregivers, specifically in palliative medicine.
