Research Interest

Tumor cells use many ways to evade immune recognition. Our laboratory focuses on how the lipid phosphatidylserine exposed on live tumor cells help misdirect macrophages to create an anti-inflammatory tone within the tumor neighborhood. Targeting this lipid (which is feasible) may help in promoting anti-tumor immunity.
