Research Interest

Clinical interest in stem-cell transplantation and the management of hematologic malignancy. Currently studying the efficacy of 13 cis-retinoic acid as maintenance therapy for multiple myeloma after autologous transplantation. Also involved in evaluating low dose short-course ganciclovir as pre-emptive therapy and the effect of granulocyte infusions on CMV viremia after allogeneic transplantation. Key words: Multiple myeloma, plasma cell dyscrasias, cytomegalovirus infection, stem cell transplantation.
