Breast cancer, sarcoma, brain tumors, hyperthermia, Gamma Knife
I specialize treating women with gynecologic and breast cancers. My main interest is in developing the use of FDG-PET and intensity-modulated radiation therapy to improve outcomes in the treatment of cervical cancer. In breast cancer, I am active in using heat and radiation in the treatment of advanced breast cancers and furthering the development of brachytherapy for the treatment of early breast cancers. Gamma Knife radiosurgery forms my third major area of research.
