Washington Post article on new cancer therapy features Siteman patient

A new therapy approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration supercharges the body’s immune system to kill inoperable melanoma, a skin cancer, opening the door to targeting more tumors. Scott Goedeke, a Siteman Cancer Center patient treated by Washington University oncologist George Ansstas, MD, was one of the first patients anywhere to receive the individualized therapy, called tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, or TIL.
