DiPersio selected to the Giants of Cancer Care® 2022 inductee class for leukemia research

John DiPersio, MD, PhD, of Washington University School of Medicine, has been named by OncLive® to their 10th annual Giants of Cancer Care® 2022 inductee class.

“Thank you for this prestigious recognition,” said DiPersio, the Virginia E. and Sam J. Golman Endowed Professor of Oncology, chief of the Division of Oncology and deputy director of the Siteman Cancer Center. “It is an honor to be included with the other 14 members in this inductee class. I am grateful to OncLive® for further advancing and promoting the important contributions made in oncology research and clinical practice through Giants of Cancer Care®.”

Since 2013, Giants of Cancer Care® has been celebrating the achievements of leading researchers and educators whose discoveries have propelled the field of oncology forward for future advancements. Each year, more than 120 eminent oncologists, researchers, and clinicians from the Giants of Cancer Care® selection committee choose honorees from several types of tumor and specialty categories.

The honor will be awarded to DiPersio on Thursday, June 2, at 7:00 p.m. CST at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. Find the full 2022 Inductee class here.
