A Life-Saving Discussion on Breast Cancer

Spend an informative morning with Washington University Physicians Virginia Herrmann, MD, breast surgeon; Ron Bose, MD, medical oncologist; and Cheryl Herman, MD, radiologist, as they discuss the latest advances in breast cancer prevention, screening and treatment.

 

Following a light breakfast, you will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with the physicians, as well as receive a complimentary bra fitting from a Wacoal Specialist.

 

There is no cost to the event. The event includes:

  • Panel discussion
  • Opportunity to speak one-on-one with Washington University Physicians
  • Light breakfast
  • Complimentary bra fittings by Wacoal specialist, special discount and gift for attendees

The Cardinals, Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital are teaming up to bring you Cancer Awareness Night at Busch Stadium. On Tuesday, June 26,fans purchasing this special theme ticket will receive a Cardinals Cancer Awareness hat – the color of the hat corresponds to the awareness colors below.

 

  • Red- General Cancer Awareness
  • Gold/ Yellow- Pediatric Cancer Awareness
  • Black- Melanoma Cancer Awareness
  • White- Lung Cancer Awareness
  • Light Blue- Prostate Cancer Awareness
  • Navy- Colon Cancer Awareness
  • Pink- Breast Cancer Awareness
  • Purple- Pancreatic Cancer Awareness
  • Orange- Leukemia Awareness
  • Teal- Ovarian Cancer Awareness

The Cancer Awareness hats are available only with the purchase of a special theme night ticket. Tickets range in price from $27.90 to $162.90. All theme night purchases for events that include giveaway items will come with a game ticket and a separate voucher. The voucher can be redeemed during the game’s distribution window for that event’s giveaway item. You will not be able to receive the item unless you have your voucher with you at the event. Exchanges for other colors will not be available at distribution. You may pick up your cap at the Budweiser Terrace Theme Tickets kiosk, across from Section 431, from 5:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

KidsCan!

Kids Can! is a program designed to support children ages 4 to 12 who have a parent or significant caregiver with a diagnosis of cancer. It provides opportunities for kids to express their feelings through various activities in a safe and protective environment with a trained facilitator. Adults will be offered a program facilitated by a group leader. This program is supported by the Holt Foundation.
