A monthly peer group for individuals and their loved ones impacted by lung cancer. Whether you are a patient or caring for someone in treatment, you are welcome to discuss treatment options and learn from expert guest speakers.  The goal of this group is to empower and educate individuals while navigating and managing lung cancer.

The Siteman Cancer Center mammography van makes it easy to get your mammogram. The mammography van is equipped with 3D mammography or tomosynthesis and will be at the following locations. Due to high demand for the mammography van, women should schedule an appointment as early as possible by calling 314-747-7222 or 800-600-3606.

The Siteman Cancer Center Community Outreach Van provides free cancer prevention education and screening services in neighborhoods throughout the St. Louis region and beyond.

 

Available Services include:

Connections to health resources and support services

Colon cancer screening kits (FIT)

Prostate cancer screening (PSA blood test)

Cancer prevention and risk-reduction education

Referrals to Siteman Cancer Center screening programs

 

The Community Outreach Van is designed for adults interested in learning about cancer prevention and determining whether they are eligible for recommended screening tests.

Screenings are provided through a mobile health unit at no cost to eligible patients

We’ll be rocking out on Friday, August 14th from 6-10 pm and on Saturday, August 15th from 4-11 pm. Please join us for our last BIG BASH and help us raise the cash to support Siteman Cancer Center and local cancer patients. The All Hands In: Caregiver Support Group offers patients and caregivers educational and recreational opportunities that foster relationships and promote bonding. Each meeting included a group activity as well as break-out sessions.

Meeting Topic: American Cancer Society will have a Social Worker come and speak on resources available to cancer patients and their caregivers

Meeting Structure:

Part 1: Full group participation in educational or recreational offering (30-40 minutes)

Break: 5-10 minutes

Part 2: Separate into 2 affinity support groups*: cancer patients and caregivers.

*groups are located in two locations for privacy.
