Research Interest

Youth smoking, with special emphasis on smoking prevention and youth tobacco control policies. I am particularly interested in how social, institutional and cultural factors influence teen smoking. I also am interested in innovative quantitative and qualitative analytic methods. Specifically, I have published work on cluster analysis, exploratory data analysis, survival analysis, focus group and other qualitative methodologies and geographic information systems techniques.
