Research Interest

I am a radiation oncologist with a clinical focus in GI malignancies and with research interests in genomic biomarkers and AI. My graduate work involved studying the early precancer microenvironment using novel high-throughput genomic sequencing. As a resident, I worked on an AI decision support tool for liver directed therapy in HCC. I was particularly drawn to the field of radiation oncology due to the unique nature of providing highly personalized cancer care using cutting edge technology. I believe there is tremendous potential for precision radiotherapy through the careful application of AI and genomic biomarkers to optimize treatment delivery and patient selection from pre-treatment prognostication to post-treatment surveillance.
