Erica’s Story

In this final video in a series that highlights patient, researcher and clinician stories and the new Siteman Cancer Center at 4500 Forest Park Ave., Erica credits Siteman for saving her life after she was diagnosed with breast cancer 16 years ago.

Like many across the region, Erica continues to travel to Siteman for close monitoring and routine follow-ups. To her, Siteman is already a place of survivorship. But now, with the new building, the exceptional care is leveling up hope for others.

Erica’s surgeon, Julie Margenthaler, MD, of Washington University, helps tell the story – and also celebrates Erica’s return to good health and better times with family.
