Lung Cancer Symptoms

The symptoms of lung cancer vary, depending on the location of the tumor and the patient’s overall state of health. In some cases, lung cancer doesn’t cause any symptoms at all. That’s why it’s important to undergo screening if you’re at higher risk.

If you have any of these symptoms, you should see your doctor for an exam.  Keep in mind, however, that these symptoms don’t always indicate lung cancer.

  • Persistent or worsening cough
  • Pain in the chest
  • Coughing up blood
  • Struggling to breathe
  • Losing weight without trying
  • Fatigue
  • Swollen veins in the neck
  • Facial swelling
  • Difficulty swallowing
