Restorative Meditation Program

Restorative meditation is a program that uses training in mindfulness to help people to reduce stress and anxiety, may help increase focus and concentration. It could also help managing health problems and live more fully your live. We will be using formal and informal mindfulness practices and meditation. Mindfulness can be described as non-judgmental, non-striving, moment-by-moment attention. It is often called present-centered awareness. Each week we will explore how to use mindfulness in different settings such as sitting meditation, whole body checks, walking and other common daily activities.

Meetings: Mondays, Feb. 6 – Mar. 13

Time: 11 a.m. – 12:30 pm
