Gentle Yoga

Through rhythmic breathing, gentle stretching and mental focus, participants can learn to ease physical and emotional tension. For cancer patients, survivors and caregivers at any level of performance and physical condition. Led by certified yoga instructors. No reservation is necessary. Comfortable clothing and physician approval are recommended.

A no-pressure, supportive exercise group open to ALL young cancer survivors at any fitness level. A fun, lively and welcoming program led by Dawn Brown, a certified personal trainer. Each week is different. From cardio, kickboxing, strength training, and yoga, we have it all! Don’t miss this opportunity to keep moving and feeling good. Bring water and a mat. The center has mats if you don’t own one. A dedicated yoga session is held the last Tuesday of every month. Dogtown Business Owners Ice Bucket Challenge

Location: Felix’s Pizza Pub 6401 Clayton Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129

Participate in an ice buck challenge to benefit research at Siteman Cancer Center. Identify a dunker and a dunkee and bring a bucket of ice, as well as a sign with your business name, something to collect your donations and a towel/change of clothes for the dunkee. Numerous bands/musicians will be playing at the event.  At 2:00 p.m. over 25 musicians/bands will play “Stand By Me.”  The Ice Bucket Challenge will begin at 3:00 p.m.
