The Jeffery T. Fort Neuroscience Building

Our Facility

The new, state-of-the-art Jeffery T. Fort Neuroscience Building opened to multi-disciplinary research teams beginning the summer of 2023, after a three-year building process. The 11-story building represents the strong commitment Washington University School of Medicine has made to advancing care in neuroscience and related fields. Soon, the building will house over 90 PIs in neuroscience, psychiatry, neurosurgery, neurology, anesthesiology, and other departmental collaborators. Siteman Cancer Center’s Brain Tumor Center will be among those groups conducting research within the facility Dedicated floors for wet and dry laboratory space, break and conference rooms, and other essential, thoughtful designs make the facility one where researchers are fully equipped and supported as they conduct their work.
