DAISY Award: Honoring Siteman Nurses

Siteman Cancer Center is proud of the care we provide every patient, and we want to have that excellence recognized. The DAISY Awards is one way to shine a light on the work Siteman nurses do. The DAISY Foundation, an international organization, has been honoring nurses’ contributions since it was established. In the year 2000 the family of J. Patrick Barnes began the foundation as part of his legacy after the profound experience of witnessing nurses administer every family member care during his illness.

The purpose of the DAISY Award is to celebrate the work nurses do and they difference they make, based on nominations of those people their healthcare expertise have helped.

Siteman Cancer Center is proud to open the DAISY Award nomination process up to our community so that they can share their positive experiences. Awards are given annually. We accept nominations year-round. Nominate your exceptional nurse today.
